I’m Susan

A proud employee of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust employed as an e-Learning developer. I collaborate with subject matter experts to design training modules on a wide range of topics from blood transfusions, resuscitation, appraisal, information governance, dysphagia, the list is endless! My expertise spans both clinical and non-clinical e-learning.

With over 25 years of experience in learning and development, I specialise in e-Learning design. Proficient in Articulate 360 and Storyline, I excel in animation building and AI video creation. I love to create innovative and engaging digital learning solutions together.

I joined Newcastle College as a degree apprentice in January 2023 to learn additional design skills and have learned loads of skills which I have transferred to my work and I'm excited to share my journey.

Instantly sold on the digital design apprenticeship degree - a definite yes from me.

Extra bits and pieces - Voluntary work

I sourced a web host for Shush Reflexology website. I recommended IONOS because as a solo business owner, they offered a competitive price, ongoing support and no tie in contract. I began the website design and trained the business owner how to complete the design. I offered this voluntary support and felt it was important she could pick up and didn't need to rely on me. In return for my support, I received a free reflexology treatment - what a lovely surprise and treat for me!

I designed the video below to add a different dimension to the website. I chose bright eye catching colours and fonts, the design is mesmerising.
